EBS Investments Manager, Benita McMahon, said: "January is a good time for everyone to assess their financial situation and plan for the future.
"Effective planning can ensure that people are availing of the most favourable savings rates available as well as ensuring access to these funds as needed; in addition financial planning helps give a better understanding of options for lump sum deposits and ways to protect your family. At EBS, we know that people who set themselves savings goals tend to be more successful than those who don't. Our experience shows that those who have a regular savings plan save on average 50% more than those without a dedicated savings product. EBS Money Advisors are available in branches throughout the county to assist people in creating a plan that meets their various financial needs, from savings to investments to protection,."
