Stepchange Debt Charity Ireland
Stepchange Debt Charity Ireland (www.stepchangedebtcharity.ie) is a free and independent telephone service ffor people who are struggling with debt or mortgage payments. They will review your financial circumstances and recommend the best way for you to deal with your debts. Their Freephone helpline number is 1800 937 435. The line is available Monday to Friday from 9am until 5pm, and is free to call from landlines and mobiles.

Banking & Payments Federation Ireland (BPFI)
The Banking & Payments Federation Ireland represents Ireland's principal mortgage lenders. In conjunction with the BPFI EBS has prepared a support guide 'Important Information to help people in mortgages arrears'.
Another useful budgeting tool is The Economiser from the National Consumer Agency (NCA), the statutory body established by the Irish Government in May 2007.
