Though Joan Byrne is adamant she’ll never be a Tony McCoy, you’ll still find her out horse-riding or involved in grass-roots community sports on her time off. A keen sports fan and coach, Joan is very much involved in the community in her local Carlow, the county she’s called home for more than three decades.

Her first love has always been sports, though you’ll be hard-pressed to find a Mortgage Master with a deeper knowledge of financial services (or the Carlow community), as she’s worked in the sector for 37 years – the last 16 of those with EBS.
