Getting started

Video Description

A short animated explainer video that shows how to complete and submit your Standard Financial Statement (SFS) online through the MyMortgage portal. It demonstrates logging in, reviewing documents, entering verification codes, and securely submitting information. Includes voiceover, subtitles, and on‑screen guidance.

The video opens with the EBS logo on a white background. It transitions to a webpage featuring the MyMortgage and OurMortgage sections side-by-side. On-screen animations show a user clicking into the SFS area of the portal.

A series of screen recordings visually guide the viewer through entering their name, email address, and mobile number. An email notification appears, followed by a close-up of the “Review Documents” button inside a DocuSign email. The animation then shows an SMS text message arriving containing a unique security code.

The user types the SMS code into the DocuSign screen to access their SFS. Each step includes highlighted boxes and simple labels indicating key actions such as “Security Check,” “Enter Code,” and “Review Document.”

Further visuals show the user scrolling through the SFS form, completing sections, uploading documents, and confirming their information. A message appears noting that a co-borrower will receive their own link after the first borrower completes their part.

Throughout, the video uses bright, clean graphics, simple icons, and smooth transitions. Subtitles display at the bottom of the screen. The video ends with the message that the user is now ready to input their information, along with an on‑screen link to ebs.ie/standard-financial-statement.

Your borrowings

Video Description

A short animated video explaining how to enter your borrowings into the Standard Financial Statement (SFS). It demonstrates how to record mortgages, loans, credit cards, and other debts, showing what information to provide and where to enter it. Subtitles accompany the narration for clarity.

The video uses a clear, step‑by‑step animation style to guide viewers through the borrowings section of the SFS. It shows examples of common types of debt—including mortgages, personal loans, overdrafts, credit cards, and hire purchase agreements—and highlights where to enter each item. The animations zoom in on the fields for lender name, outstanding balance, monthly repayment, and other required details.

When the narrator explains monthly payment amounts, the video highlights the relevant input box with an animated outline. Tooltips appear when the cursor hovers over fields, providing additional tips and reminders. In sections where the user has no relevant borrowings, a demonstrated dropdown shows how to select “N/A” before progressing. Other segments show that selecting the first box in a section reveals tips, hints, and the required fields, turning them red to indicate mandatory entry.

Subtitles display at the bottom of the screen in sync with the narration, supporting accessibility and comprehension. The visual style remains simple and consistent, designed to make the SFS borrowing section easy to understand and complete.
