Following the European Central Bank’s increases in interest rates since July 2022 and in a rising interest rate environment, today we are announcing that we are increasing all our Private Dwelling House (PDH) & Buy to Let (BTL) Fixed Mortgage Interest Rates
From 15 March 2023, we will increase our fixed interest rates for mortgages by up to 0.75% (ranging from 0.25% to 0.75%) for private homes (PDH) and Buy to let (BTL) mortgages.
We will apply these new rates to existing customers entering a new fixed rate period from 15 March 2023.
To request a change to the interest rate on your mortgage you must complete the customer information and section 2 of the Home Loan Interest Rate Application Form. Please print and complete the form ensuring it is signed by all parties to the mortgage and email to info@ebs.ie. Alternatively, return to the address shown on the form.

We will not apply the increase if you are paying a mortgage within an existing fixed rate term.

Customers who drawdown* their new mortgage before close of business on 14 April 2023 can avail of the previous rates.
We will charge the previous rate (before the increase) to customers who have asked us to fix their rate using the Home Loan Interest Rate Application form from our website by close of business on 14 March 2023.
