Fixed Rate Mortgage Change

From close of business 25 November 2022, we will increase our fixed interest rates for mortgages by 0.50% for private homes (PDH) and Buy to let (BTL) mortgages.

  • Existing fixed rate (mortgages currently in a fixed rate period) and variable rate mortgages remain unaffected by the increase
  • To recognise the busy Christmas period customers who drawdown* their new mortgage before close of business on 16 January 2023 can avail of the previous rates

Following the European Central Bank’s 2.00% increase in interest rates since July 2022 and in a rising interest rate environment, we are increasing all our fixed mortgage interest rates.

We will apply these new rates to existing customers entering a new fixed rate period after close of business 25 November 2022.

To request a change to the interest rate on your mortgage you must complete the customer information and section 2 of the Home Loan Interest Rate Application Form. Please print and complete the form ensuring it is signed by all parties to the mortgage and email to info@ebs.ie. Alternatively, return to the address shown on the form.
